How to Keep a Coffee Brew Log
I used to chase "random good days" and lose them by the next morning. A brew log is how I stopped: it turns one lucky cup into something I can rebuild on purpose. Write down enough that you could brew it again blind.
Fields worth keeping
- Coffee dose and water amount (grams).
- Ratio, grind setting, water temperature, brew time.
- Yield (for espresso), taste tags, rating, and notes.
Comparing brews
The Brew Log tool duplicates your last cup, lets you change one field, and highlights the differences when you compare two brews.
